Daytime Notes Pro

Daytime Notes Pro includes everything in the free plugin, plus what teams actually need: oversight across a whole project, files attached to feedback, and notifications that fit the way you work rather than one fixed schedule.

What Pro adds

Notes Manager: one person with the full picture. Normally, people see the notes they wrote, notes assigned to them and general notes, which keeps everyone’s view focused. Choose a Notes Manager and they see every note on the site, whoever it’s assigned to. The Notes Manager can also lock the plugin’s settings so only they can change them, and can get a daily digest of everything created, edited and deleted.

File attachments. Attach screenshots, photos (including iPhone HEIC), PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, spreadsheets and zips directly to a note. Files are stored privately on your own site and only shown to people allowed to see the note. You set how many files and how large, and can have attachments cleared automatically when a note is completed.

Personal notes. Mark a note Personal and only you and the person you mention can see it, along with any replies. It stays out of the shared view for everyone else. The Notes Manager can still see it, because oversight is the point of that role.

Notifications your way.

  • Instant emails: people are told the moment they’re mentioned or replied to.
  • Your own schedule: batch emails every hour, 4 hours, 8 hours, daily, or only when you press send.
  • Task-completed emails: sent instantly, batched or switched off.
  • Task reminders: each person can choose a gentle nudge about open tasks every 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days.
  • Daily activity digest for the Notes Manager.

Role and access control. Choose exactly which roles can use Daytime Notes, such as Editors, Authors or your own custom roles, and give individual people access whatever their role.

Export. Download every note as a spreadsheet (CSV) or JSON: a complete record of what was asked for, who did it and when, ready for client sign-off, invoicing or your own records.

Housekeeping tools. Clean up notes left behind on deleted pages, clear stuck notifications, and remove old attachments, all from the settings page.

Who Pro is for

  • Agencies running several client projects, who need one person keeping an eye on everything.
  • Teams whose feedback includes files: screenshots, mock-ups and documents, not just text.
  • Anyone who’s outgrown Free’s fixed schedule and wants control over when and how people are notified.
  • Anyone who needs a record of the work, for sign-off, invoicing or accountability.

Still the same plugin

Pro isn’t a separate product bolted on. It’s the same element notes, threaded conversations and @mentions as Free, with everything in Free fully intact. Upgrading doesn’t change anything you already know how to use. It adds control for bigger teams and busier projects. Activating Pro takes over from Free automatically, keeping every note.

Fair licensing

  • Annual licence: $49 for one site, $99 for five, $199 for unlimited sites. Local development sites don’t count towards your limit.
  • If your licence lapses, Pro keeps working. You just stop getting updates and support until you renew.
  • Your notes are never held hostage. If you ever go back to Free, one click switches over and every note carries across.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.
  • Email support at connect@daytimenotes.com.

Not sure you need Pro yet? Compare Free and Pro, or read the full Pro documentation.
